Welcome to our most popular tour - the Ghost, Witches, and Pirates Tour in Colonial Williamsburg! Our 18th-century tour guides will transport you back in time to the most fascinating locations in town, where you will be fully immersed in haunting stories, as well as tales of captured pirates and Blackbeard's demise.
During our tour, we will visit the outside of several iconic buildings, including Raleigh Tavern, Lucy Ludwell's house, the Courthouse, Bruton Parish Church, George Wythe's house and the Peyton Randolph house (one of the most haunted places in Virginia). At each stop, you will be fully immersed in the history and paranormal activity of these locations through our knowledgeable tour guides' storytelling.
Our tour is not just a passive experience, but a fully immersive one that promises an exciting evening filled with adventure and entertainment for people of all ages. You will feel like you have been transported back in time to the 1700s, where the "Witch of Pungo" roamed the town and pirates sailed the seas.

Our costumed crew includes Grace Sherwood, the "Witch of Pungo," as well as Mr. Pirate and Petey the Parrot, who will keep you entertained throughout the tour. Be sure to keep an eye out for Mr. Pirate's treasure chest at the end of the tour, where kids can collect a prize.
The tour will meet at the Capitol at 8 PM and last for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Rain or shine, our tours will run as scheduled, so make sure to dress appropriately for the weather.

Amazing tour… and I CAUGHT A GHOST ON CAMERA! These folks run a fun, informative and very entertaining tour, interspersing local history and lore with fun facts about American sayings that have their roots in the colonial era. The drunken pirate was a hilarious addition to the tour.
But the crazy thing is that I actually caught a ghost on camera! I’ve done many ghost tours and taken many iPhone photos before but have never caught anything of interest.
