Spooks and Legends Haunted Ghost Tour was created by Bonnie Florek. Her very unique Ghosts, Witches, and Pirates tour has attracted guests from as far away as Holland, France, United Kingdom, Canada and others. Bonnie learned, first hand, that the majority of the evening was spent on history and lifeless stories. Consequently, she has created her own ghost tours to be what guests truly want and expect.
Spooks and Legends makes the reality of ghost spirits come to life through its originality. As new ghost tales are revealed by 21st century town residents and employees, they are integrated into the existing tours. All information given has been fully researched, often reported by employees from town. No false props or artificial elements are added to our family friendly ghost tour. If you take photographs and later see ghosts, apparitions or orbs in them, you can be sure they are real.

Samuel Odell aka Mr. Pirate
Samuel O'Dell made a grave mistake when he decided to accompany Blackbeard's crew back to their ship from the tavern for a night of drinking and frivolity. On the morning of November 21, 1718, he was abruptly awakened to the sounds of commotion and gunfire from the ensuing battle with Lt . Maynard and a contingent of British sailors on board the ship. Although he was shot and slashed numerous times, he lived to tell the tale. Unlike the other pirates, he escaped the hangman's noose as it was determined he was not actually part of Blackbeard's crew and was therefore acquitted of the charge of piracy!
